Dogs

Today, the hubby and I went to the humane society to look at puppies. I found one that I love. She is a Min Pin chihuahua mix. Super cute and her name is Coco. She would be the perfect little companion for me, which is just what I need. Because of the bipolar disorder I have a lot of down times where human interaction is really hard for me. Dogs are perfect for that. Especially quiet little lap puppies.

However, I do have a dog already. His name is Blaze and he lives at my parents house. I love him to death. Technically we aren't supposed to have a dog at the house we rent and he is way too rambunctious to hide. I miss him constantly and I hate that I can't have him here, which makes me want a puppy more. Here is a picture of Blaze from Halloween.

Going to the humane society has made me want to volunteer there as well. I think I am going to try to fit that in my schedule. I highly encourage everyone to volunteer or donate to your favorite charity (especially if it's the humane society). I just love dogs so much and hate seeing them in cages because someone didn't want them.

Another awesome thing we did this weekend was go see The Lorax. Richard and I see so many movies. Like we had seen all the movies in our theatre that we were anxiously waiting for new movies to come out. Which luckily, we started with a really good one. I highly recommend it. That movie was so freaking good. Even though it's a "kids" movie, The Lorax had an awesome message. It had me feeling so proactive and like I wanted to change the world after I left the theatre. I want to live in a world Dr. Seuss creates.

"Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."

Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

That quote right there explains it all.
